This is a must read for contemporary women literature. It's a brutal look at life in prison for women who are mentally ill. Do they need to be in prison or in care? Who's crazy and why? It's a book you cannot put down and will stay with you long after you finish the last page. Read ON!

I would have to say that I leen more towards the vampire side. For me I think that Jacob needs to understand that Bella just loves Edward (in my opinion) and that he is a very good friend and she loves him, but in a different way. I don't like how he insist on her loving him putting pressure on her to choose between her love and her best friend. I really hope that Jacob is not imprinted and that he can really fall in love with someone who will love him back because he does deserve credit in being a reliable friend. But vampires win in my book. P.S. I love Alice which gives the vampires some more points

Ya, the imagination in this books goes way beyond Harry Potter, and even if they are supposedly anti-catholic, you can't judge a book by what other people say about it. Honestly, if someone hadn't told me the book was supposed to be anti-catholic,I would've never realised. Pan the daemon is awesome!!! :c)

I am in the "P" section of the fiction books, and loved three authors. First, Sharon Kay Penman has these other books that look interesting: Here Be Dragons, Prince of Darkness, and Dragon's Lair. Next, any more of Judy Picult's books would be great. Finaly, Tamora Peirce wrote the sequel to a book we currently have. The new book is “Trickster’s Queen”. If you could order these that would be great!

I have to say the library is doing a pretty good job at finding Manga. There are a few though that are really good that aren't available at our library. Could you please try to get:
1. "Ultra Maniac" by Wataru Yoshizumi
2. "FullMetal Alchemist" by Hiromu Arakawa
3. "Chibi Vampire" by Yuna Kagesaki
Thanks so much!!!!!

I just read Society of S. Overall it was pretty good, but some of it was flat and seemed to have no point, not enough detail or almost no purpose. It had great potential, but it just wasn't quite there in some parts. Don't get me wrong, though - it was still a good book.

Title: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Actors: Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson
This movie was probably the most popular of all over the summer. I loved the movie, but was somehow disappointed by it. The new director caught much of the book out. I also felt that he changed a lot of the book. For instance, if you read the book, you know that there were around 5 educational decrees mentioned in the books. There are over 100 in the movie. I also went that the movie went too fast. However, I did like the movie because it was Harry Potter, and it is pretty hard to make that bad. I would have like it to be more like the book, but for a total change, it was good.

I definitely agree that it wasn't as good as it could have been. I, for one, love Quidditch, and was very disappointed that there was none in there. However, it is understandable as there is so much book material to cover in two hours of film. Also, and I know this is a bit childish, but why did the girl who told have to be Cho? And why didn't she have 'SNITCH' written across her face in pimples? I liked that part of the book. Sweet, sweet revenge. As usual, I enjoyed the book much more than the movie, which is why I always insist on reading the book before I watch the movie. Hopefully the next movie will be much better.

Title of Movie: Hairspray
Actors: Amanda Bynes, Zac Efron, John Travolta
Many people saw this movie over the summer (including myself). Personally, I LOVED IT! On top of having some of my actors, Hairspray also had a fantastic plot and great music.
Plot: A girl really likes a dance show. Then, they offer auditions open to the public. She tries out but is put down by the rude lady in charge. Eventually, through connections with Zac Efron (Link) that goes to her school, she makes it to T.V....watch the movie for even more info.
I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET. (The hair styles are super cute too!)

Hello, it's me again. For anyone who's a fan of Celtic legends, I definitely suggest reading Rosalind Miles' Tristan and Isolde trilogy. Rather than the depressing Medieval ending, Miles' uses the love story's original Celtic ending. Definitely a great read! She also has a Guenevere trilogy, for fans of Arthurian legend. I haven't read it yet, but it's on my Spring Break reading list. I'll let you know if it's good.

I've been reading L.A. Banks' Vampire Huntress series, and I absolutely love it. It mixes the supernatural, philosophy, history, and biblical referenes. A great series for anyone who wants something deeper than just "Vampires suck peoples' blood. The end."
